El Faro Towers, Twin residential towers in Puerto Madero, Argentina.
El Faro consists of two glass and concrete towers, each 46 floors and about 160 meters tall, standing on the waterfront. Four connecting bridges at different levels link the buildings and create shared interior spaces between them.
The complex was built during Puerto Madero's earliest development phase, with the first tower completed in 2003 and the second in 2005. This project helped transform the old port district from neglected industrial land into a residential destination.
The towers helped redefine how Buenos Aires approached waterfront living with modern architecture. They set a new standard for the district and shaped how residents and visitors see this area today.
The two buildings house about 160 apartments with amenities like outdoor pools, spa facilities, and gyms distributed throughout. Public walkways around the site make it easy to explore the waterfront neighborhood on foot.
The four bridges connecting the towers contain a reading room with views of the waterfront, an unexpected quiet space inside the buildings. Most visitors to the neighborhood miss this hidden room, which gives the complex a surprising interior feature.
