Hotel B
Hotel B is a hotel with a roof terrace and bar located in Barranco, Lima. Built in 1914 as a private residence, it was converted to a hotel in 2013, and its columned facade shapes the streetscape of the neighborhood.
The building was constructed in 1914 as a summer house for a wealthy family and retained its classical architectural character. When converted to a hotel in 2013, the spaces were carefully restored and outfitted with contemporary art while maintaining the structure's original substance.
Hotel B sits in Barranco, a neighborhood defined by its art galleries and creative community. The building's columned facade reflects the district's architectural identity and contributes to the bohemian character that draws artists and culture seekers to the area.
Access is through Barranco's walkable streets, with most of the neighborhood's galleries and restaurants within walking distance. The area is active both day and evening, making the location a good starting point to reach other Lima attractions.
The hotel displays over 300 artworks distributed throughout its spaces, turning the interior into a moving gallery. Visitors can collect pieces by purchasing small versions of the displayed works at the on-site art shop.
