Kravica Waterfall

Kravica Waterfall is a waterfall complex with twenty cascades that drop about 25 meters into a lake on the Trebižat River. The basin extends about 120 meters across and allows visitors to swim in the clear water.

The area was under the management of local landowners during earlier times. The region played a role in local commerce and had long been a place where people utilized the water and natural resources.

Local restaurants by the falls serve traditional dishes prepared in the regional style, with grilled fish from the river being a favorite among visitors during their stay.

The area has changing facilities, small shops with souvenirs, and food stalls for visitors. You can also rent canoes to explore from the water and enhance your experience.

The limestone deposits beneath the falling water form new layers of tuff over time. These whitish formations continue to grow slowly as mosses and lichens colonize their surfaces.
