Daallo Park, Nature park in Ceerigaabo, Somalia.
Located on a limestone escarpment near Mount Shimbiris, Daallo Park contains dense forests with trees reaching heights of over 30 meters across the mountainous terrain.
The park forms part of the Ogo Mountains range, where archaeological evidence indicates continuous settlement patterns of Somali tribes dating back many centuries.
The forest holds particular importance for local communities who utilize various plant species found within the park for traditional medicinal treatments and practices.
The park receives approximately 650 millimeters of annual rainfall at its summit, creating favorable conditions for hiking between October and March.
The protected area serves as a designated Important Bird Area, providing habitat for rare species including the Warsangli linnet and Socotra golden-winged grosbeak.
