Camping Palacio de Garaña

Camping Palacio de Garaña occupies the former grounds of the Marquis of Argüelles estate and blends modern facilities with a restored nineteenth-century palace structure. The property includes 426 camping pitches and 21 bungalows spread across the grounds.

The original palace on the grounds was built in 1881 and underwent extensive renovation into a three-star hotel, completed in 2007. This transformation preserved the classical structure while adapting it for modern hospitality use.

The on-site restaurant serves traditional Asturian dishes in dining rooms within the historic palace, creating a setting where local food traditions are part of the guest experience. Regional flavors and ingredients define the meals offered to visitors and residents alike.

The grounds sit just 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) from the Bufones de Pría, natural marine geysers where seawater sprays through limestone formations during high tide. This coastal phenomenon results from ocean force channeling through underground passages.
