Wane by SoMiya is a rooftop terrace with a 45-meter infinity pool on the fifth floor of JW Marriott Hotel Marina, overlooking the skyscrapers and waterways of Dubai Marina. Spacious lounging areas surround the pool, providing plenty of room to relax and take in the views.
The venue was formerly called Shades before undergoing a complete redesign to become the current Wane by SoMiya. This transformation made it one of Dubai's earliest venues with an infinity pool, introducing a jungle-themed luxury concept to the rooftop scene.
The place blends Asian influences with Mediterranean touches, and you can see this mix in the decor, the food, and the regular live performances throughout the week. Themed nights celebrate different cultures, creating a varied experience depending on when you visit.
The venue operates daily from 8 in the morning until 3 at night, functioning as a daytime pool club and transforming into a rooftop bar in the evening. Booking ahead is recommended, especially on weekends or during special events.
