The Link, One Za'abeel, Skyway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The Link is a horizontal glass passage suspended between the two towers of One Za'abeel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is clad in reflective panels with a diagonal pattern and offers open views over the city from about 100 meters above the ground.
The two towers rise on plots separated by a highway, and the raised passage was built to bridge that gap as part of a project completed in 2024. The structure sits near the route from Dubai International Airport, making it one of the first major buildings noticed by travelers heading downtown.
The concourse gathers several restaurants and bars in one airy room, so people often move between tables, glass walls and the long pool edge at the top. At night, the lights from the city turn the surrounding glass into a shifting backdrop for dinner conversations.
Visitors usually reach this elevated structure through the base of either tower and then ride an elevator up to the shared concourse. The indoor passage stays cool all day, so a visit works well even during the hottest afternoon hours.
Inside the passage, visitors often overlook the fact that the structure spans a length roughly equal to two football fields. The pool along its upper section is among the longest raised outdoor pools in the country, with water ending just a few steps from the glass edge.
