Emirates Towers, Building complex on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Emirates Towers is a building complex made of two triangular glass structures on Sheikh Zayed Road, connected through the Boulevard, a large retail area. The structures reach approximately 355 meters high and house offices, hotels, and various shops.
The complex was built starting in 1996 and finished in 2000, marking a turning point in Dubai's architectural development. The project brought the most advanced skyscraper technology to the region at that time and set new standards for future building projects.
The towers shape the streetscape through their modern triangular forms and gleaming glass facade that shimmers in sunlight. Visitors immediately notice how these buildings define the character of Sheikh Zayed Road and form the heart of the city's business activity.
The location is easily reached by metro and offers ample parking on-site for visitors arriving by car. A daytime visit is recommended when the interior is well-lit and the shopping center is fully open.
The two towers are not built parallel to each other but lean slightly toward one another, creating a visual illusion of movement. This architectural detail resulted from intentional design to give the building a more dynamic appearance.
