Hang Jebat Stadium is a modern facility in Krubong featuring a grass pitch, athletic track, and seating for approximately 40,000 spectators. The layout supports both football matches and track-and-field events with well-organized field zones.

The stadium was completed in September 2004, built after Malacca's former Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam gazetted sports tourism as one of twelve tourism sub-sectors, creating demand for an international-standard venue. It is named after Hang Jebat, a Laksamana of the Malacca Sultanate. In 2010 it served as the main venue of the Sukma Games.

In the third round of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification, the Syria national team played many of its home matches here because of the Syrian Civil War. The stadium's 40,000 all-seated capacity made it a substitute home ground.
