Federal Territory Mosque

The Federal Territory Mosque is an Islamic place of worship in the Segambut district featuring 22 distinctive domes. The structure uses glass fiber fabric and epoxy resin for these domes while displaying detailed carvings of local floral patterns throughout.

The mosque was completed in 2000 and represented a significant religious addition to the city's architectural landscape at that time. It was part of a series of prayer houses developed by the government.

The mosque displays traditional Malaysian craftsmanship woven together with Ottoman design elements. You can see intricate patterns carved throughout in local wood, reflecting the artisans' skill.

The building is located near the MATRADE complex and is easy to reach. Visitors should note that access may be limited during midday prayer times on Fridays.

The interior contains precious stones like lapis lazuli, black onyx, and malachite combined with marble imported from India. These rare materials make the interior decoration truly special.
