Ocean Heights, Residential skyscraper in Dubai Marina, United Arab Emirates
Ocean Heights is a 310-meter residential tower in Dubai Marina with 82 floors and a distinctive curved form that twists as it rises. The building contains 519 apartments alongside pools, gyms, and other resident amenities.
Construction began in 2007 by DAMAC Properties after two earlier design concepts were revised, with the tower completed in April 2010. The project emerged during Dubai's peak building expansion period.
The building reflects Dubai's transformation into a global center through its combination of residential spaces and modern architectural design principles.
The tower sits in Dubai Marina, a residential neighborhood with good road access and shuttle services throughout the area. Nearby shops, restaurants, and recreation facilities are within walking distance or short drives.
The structure uses specialized engineering to handle strong wind forces created by its twisting shape and waterfront location. This type of spiral design was relatively uncommon in residential towers at that time.
