Museo Histórico Dillman S. Bullock

The Dillman S. Bullock Museum features three thematic halls displaying archaeological artifacts, ethnographic collections, and natural history specimens from the Malleco Province.

The museum, established on March 18, 1961, by American agronomist Dillman Samuel Bullock Lytle, contains pre-Hispanic ceramics and artifacts from the El Vergel cultural complex.

The institution maintains collections of Mapuche textiles, musical instruments, and silver jewelry that represent the indigenous heritage of the Araucanía Region.

Located at Fundo El Vergel, 5 kilometers from Angol, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday with an entrance fee of 500 Chilean pesos.

The museum houses an extensive collection of preserved native Chilean wildlife specimens alongside petrified objects and precious minerals, including agates.
