Tiltil

Tiltil is a rural commune in Chacabuco Province, stretching across a large area within the Santiago Metropolitan Region. The settlement sits on a highland plateau surrounded by mountain formations, encompassing various neighborhoods and farmland.

This area was the execution site of independence fighter Manuel Rodríguez during Chile's struggle for freedom from Spanish rule. The event marks a pivotal moment in the nation's fight for self-determination.
