The Rioja Palace displays French neoclassical architecture with grand halls, ornate decorations, and extensive gardens along Quillota Street in Viña del Mar.
Built as a residence for the Rioja family during the early 20th century, the palace transformed into a decorative arts museum in 1979 to preserve Chilean heritage.
The museum exhibits 331 pieces of furniture, textiles, and decorations from Spain and France, representing the Chilean upper class from the 1900s.
Located between 3 and 4 North streets, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, with sessions from 10:00 to 13:30 and 15:00 to 17:30.
During night hours, several visitors have reported hearing mysterious piano music echoing through the empty halls of the palace museum.
