Churcampa Province

Churcampa Province is an administrative division in Huancavelica Region that spans across mountainous terrain containing eleven districts. The city of Churcampa serves as the administrative center, connecting communities like Anco, Chinchihuasi, El Carmen, and others throughout the area.

The province took its current form in the early 2000s when Peru reorganized its administrative structure and created new regional divisions. This reshaping aimed to bring local governance closer to the communities it serves.
