Museo Histórico General Aparicio Saravia, History museum in Cerro Largo Department, Uruguay.

The museum occupies a stone building with blue and white walls, tiled roof, and barred windows situated near the Cordobes Stream.

The estate El Cordobes, where the museum stands, belonged to Uruguayan nationalist leader Aparicio Saravia and was built by his uncle Cristino da Rosa.

The museum presents documents, photographs, letters, weapons, furniture, clothing, and personal items belonging to General Saravia and his wife Candida Diaz.

The museum operates under the administration of Cerro Largo Department and offers free admission to all visitors throughout the year.

A chapel commissioned by Saravia's wife stands near the main building, constructed two years after the general's death as a memorial.
