Proyecto reserva natural y cultural provincial Tres Cerros

The Tres Cerros Natural Reserve features three isolated peaks rising to 179 meters above the extensive plains of Corrientes Province, surrounded by grasslands and native forests.

The area holds archaeological remains from the Jesuit-Guarani missions established in 1630, including preserved stone walls and cattle corrals used during colonial times.

The reserve integrates local practices and knowledge into its management, promoting environmental education programs and research activities for scientific investigation of flora and fauna.

Access to Tres Cerros is through Provincial Route 114, with hiking paths leading to Nazareno Peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The reserve contains approximately 300 plant species, including 30 types of ferns and three endemic plant species found exclusively in this microclimate.
