Baronesa de Arary Building, Residential building on Avenida Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil.
The Baronesa de Arary Building contains 590 apartments distributed across 25 floors and four distinct blocks named Côte d'Azur, Rajá, Capri, and Acapulco.
Built between 1954 and the early 1960s by architect Simeon Fichel, this structure replaced a 1917 mansion that belonged to Baroness Maria Dalmácia de Lacerda Guimarães.
During the 1960s, the building attracted theater performers and fashion professionals, with residents including actors Walmor Chagas, Cacilda Becker, and Elke Maravilha.
The building houses approximately 3,500 residents and features different apartment layouts: three-bedroom units in Côte d'Azur, studio apartments in Rajá and Capri, and two-bedroom units in Acapulco.
The building underwent closure in 1993 due to safety concerns and structural issues, leading to the temporary relocation of all residents until 1998.
