Cacimba de Dentro

Cacimba de Dentro is a municipality in northeastern Brazil's Paraíba state. The town sits in the Agreste region, an area known for its rolling terrain and mixed landscape between coast and inland plateau.

The municipality was officially established on September 24, 1959. This founding moment created a new administrative division within the Agreste region of Paraíba state.

The residents of Cacimba de Dentro, known as cacimbenses, maintain local traditions within the Western Curimataú microregion of Paraíba state.
