Klipvoor Dam

Klipvoor Dam is a gravity dam on the Moretele River that stretches 475 meters long and rises 30 meters high, creating a substantial water reservoir. The structure functions as a major water storage facility in the region.

The dam was constructed in 1970 and improved water management across the North West province. The project enabled farmers to irrigate new agricultural areas and transformed rural development in the region.
