Gunung Putri

Gunung Putri is an administrative district in Bogor Regency containing ten different villages. The landscape varies from flat areas to hilly regions, creating a mixed environment where residential zones border industrial facilities.

The district originated from the Jonggol administrative division in 1938 and gained independent status through Presidential Regulation in 1963. This transformation marked its development into a separate administrative unit.

The district hosts an annual Quran recitation competition that brings together participants from different villages to showcase their skills. This event reflects the community's strong religious traditions and remains an important gathering for local residents.

The northern section contains residential complexes and parks, while the southern area houses industrial facilities. This layout helps visitors understand which zones are better for relaxation or exploring commercial activity.

Two major rivers frame the district's boundaries: the Cikeas River flows along the western edge while the Cileungsi River marks the eastern border. These natural boundaries shape the area's geographic identity and create distinct edges for the community.
