Grand Indonesia

Grand Indonesia is a major shopping center in central Jakarta spread across eight retail levels with more than 200 stores organized into different shopping zones. The complex combines retail spaces with dining, entertainment venues, and a cultural gallery that highlights local artistic traditions.

The complex opened in 2006 and quickly became one of Indonesia's largest shopping destinations under management by PT Grand Indonesia. Its establishment marked a turning point in how the city's retail sector expanded to serve both local and visiting shoppers.

The Galeri Indonesia Kaya on the eighth floor displays the nation's cultural heritage through digital presentations and interactive games that showcase local artistic traditions. Visitors walk through galleries showing how different regions express their identity through crafts, textiles, and contemporary art.

The complex has ample parking available and connects easily to public transportation through nearby train and metro stations. It is straightforward to navigate with clear signage, and you'll find restrooms and stroller rental services located throughout.

The Sphere X cinema within the complex houses an exceptionally large screen comparable to a basketball court in size, delivering an immersive viewing experience. This projection technology creates an unusual film-watching experience rarely found in the region.
