Renville Bridge

The Renville Bridge is a railway bridge in Kebumen that crosses a river and connects two sections of track between Kroya and Kutoarjo. The structure carries both passenger and freight trains moving through Central Java on this important route.

The bridge was originally built as part of railway development in Central Java to connect communities across the region. It underwent modernization work that continued until May 2020 to enable double track operations and increase transport capacity.

The bridge stands as a representation of Indonesian railway development, connecting communities and supporting local trade throughout Central Java.

The bridge is located near Kebumen Station, where trains stop regularly and five tracks serve different types of rail services. Visitors should note that the route between Kroya and Kutoarjo is well served and the station is easily accessible.

A distinctive feature of this bridge is the specialized switch point located two kilometers from the main station. This switch allows trains to move efficiently across the structure and connect to different rail lines.
