The Mangkang Zoo occupies 9 hectares along Walisongo Road, housing 89 species with a total of 283 animals including Bengal Tigers and Sumatran Elephants.
The zoological garden originated near Raden Saleh Cultural Park before relocating to Tinjomoyo in 1985 and finally settling in the Mangkang district in 2006.
The facility integrates conservation efforts with educational programs through regular animal shows featuring elephants and birds performances for visitors throughout the day.
Admission fees vary from 20,000 rupiah on weekdays to 30,000 rupiah during national holidays, with operating hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
Beyond animal exhibits, visitors can experience water parks, miniature trains, zoo play areas, and ATV trails within the same complex.
