Poco Ranaka

Poco Ranaka is a stratovolcano on Flores Island featuring two distinct summits, with the southern peak rising higher than its northern counterpart. The mountain is shaped by layers of hardened lava and volcanic ash that have accumulated over time.

This volcano formed through repeated volcanic activity that shaped the geological structure of Flores. In the late 1980s, a new lava dome emerged at the site, followed by an eruption in the following decade.
