Phillip Street Terraces, Heritage terrace houses in Sydney, Australia
The Phillip Street Terraces consist of five connected historical buildings situated at numbers 39-47 in Sydney's central business district.
The New South Wales State Heritage Register added these Victorian-era terrace houses to its protected list on April 2, 1999.
These buildings represent the architectural preferences and residential patterns of nineteenth-century Sydney, now operating as mixed commercial spaces and offices.
The structures, owned by the New South Wales Government superannuation fund trustees, underwent renovation plans combining residential and commercial purposes.
The property received 67 different proposals for restoration and leasing after a public advertisement, indicating strong interest in its development potential.
