The wooden structure features steep pitched gable roofs, twin gable transepts, timber buttresses, and leadlight windows displaying traditional ecclesiastical architecture.
Established in 1916 on land donated by Williamina Mowbray, widow of Reverend Thomas Mowbray who founded Queensland's first Presbyterian church in 1851.
The church building includes a preserved pipe organ from 1902, wooden pews, and a large altar that reflect Presbyterian religious traditions.
Located at 22-28 Mowbray Terrace, the former church now functions as commercial office space while maintaining its heritage-listed status.
The bell used in the church tower was transported from Scotland, connecting the building to its Presbyterian origins across the ocean.
