Broadway Hotel

The Broadway Hotel is located at 93 Logan Road and consists of a three-story structure with decorative brick walls, balconies, and an octagonal corner tower. Its architectural elements include carefully crafted details that define the late Victorian design style of the building.

The hotel was built in 1890 during Queensland's period of economic expansion and operated continuously until a fire led to its closure in 2010. Its more than a century of operation shaped it into a well-established business in the local community.

The pub served as a central gathering place where city dwellers and visitors from the countryside came together for lodging and social occasions. It held an important role in the community's daily life and was known for bringing people from different backgrounds together.

The building is currently closed to visitors as restoration work continues following past fires. You can view the exterior of the structure and observe its architectural features from outside the building.

The building was designed by the architectural firm John Hall & Son, which created over 100 structures throughout their career. This made it part of Brisbane's late Victorian architectural period and reflects Hall's significant influence on the city's development.
