Woolloongabba Post Office, Heritage post office building in Woolloongabba, Australia.
The two-story masonry structure at 765 Stanley Street displays classical architectural elements with a corner tower and decorative rendered walls.
Built in 1905 under architect Thomas Pye's supervision, this structure replaced an earlier post office that operated from rented premises on Logan Road since 1887.
The building represents the transition of postal services from Queensland state control to Commonwealth management following Australian federation in 1901.
After serving as both post office and telegraph station, the ground floor maintained postal functions while the upper floor became office space in the 1950s.
The structure remains one of only five masonry post offices constructed in Queensland between 1900 and 1910.
