Musket Villa, Heritage-listed residence in Ascot, Australia.
The single-story stucco building features multiple gabled roofs, terracotta tiles, and a wide verandah with Crow's Ash flooring at 251 Lancaster Road.
Built in 1923 by architects Hall and Prentice, the residence served as home and training establishment for horse trainer William Booth until his death in 1927.
The interior displays fine craftsmanship through timber paneling, leadlight doors, built-in display cabinets, and ebonised timber detailing representing 1920s residential architecture.
Located opposite Eagle Farm Racecourse, the property includes converted stables that now function as residential flats and operates as Lancaster Gables bed and breakfast.
The residence received its name from Musket, a horse trained by William Booth that won the Queensland Turf Club Derby in 1899.
