123 Albert Street is a 26-level office tower completed in 2011, designed by Hassell and owned by Dexus. Its facade is split vertically: the left section has light grey horizontal bands and dark windows, while the right is a recessed dark glass curtain wall with a solid grey column at the edge. A projecting white podium with dark vertical slats meets the lower right side.
123 Albert Street was completed in July 2011 and opened in October 2011, replacing an earlier building on the site. During construction, on 25 August 2010, a worker was injured. The tower was designed by Hassell and is owned by Dexus.
The building reflects how Brisbane's business district has evolved into a modern skyline dominated by tall office towers. Its glass facade is part of a newer generation of high-rises that have transformed the city center since the 2000s.
The building sits in a central location with direct access to Queen Street Mall and pedestrian areas nearby. Visitors can find retail options at ground level and easily explore the surrounding area on foot.
