The Victory Hotel occupies a corner position at Edward and Charlotte Streets, featuring two levels with six bars, a lounge, deck, and beer garden.
Constructed in 1855 as the Prince of Wales Hotel, the building underwent renovations in the 1880s under architect Richard Gailey's direction and received its current name in 1921.
The establishment transformed from a travelers' accommodation in the colonial period to a social center for working-class patrons during the 1890s in the Frogs Hollow district.
The hotel contains multiple spaces across two floors, including a gaming room, pool area, and an outdoor beer garden that remains open for Brisbane residents.
Among 32 hotels recorded in Brisbane's central business district in 1951, the Victory Hotel stands as one of only seven establishments still operating today.
