138 Mary Street, Brisbane, Heritage warehouse in Brisbane CBD, Australia.
The brick building at 138 Mary Street features three large arched openings with triangular pediments and a stone basement partially visible at street level.
Built in 1901 for Perkins Brewery, the structure served as a wine and spirits storehouse until 1943 when Alfred Lawrence & Co Ltd acquired the property.
The building represents the industrial development of Brisbane's brewing industry, as part of the larger Perkins complex that operated in the city center.
Located near major intersections of Mary Street with George Street and Albert Street, the building stands among other heritage structures in Brisbane's business district.
Following a fire in 1937 that destroyed most of the Perkins complex, this building and the adjacent stables remain the only structures from the original brewery site.
