Watson Brothers Building, Heritage-listed warehouse in Brisbane, Australia.
The three-story brick Watson Brothers Building features a richly decorated facade with pilasters, segmental arches, and an ornamental frieze above the ground floor.
Architect Richard Gailey designed this structure in 1887 for Watson Brothers Plumbing Company, which grew into Queensland's largest plumbing business by the early 1900s.
The building represents the transformation of Frog's Hollow from a swampy district into Brisbane's main industrial area during the late nineteenth century.
Located at 129 Margaret Street, the former warehouse now accommodates parking facilities and a café on the ground level.
The structure included advanced features for its time, such as American lifts for goods handling and a central carriageway for vehicle access.
