Anna Ranch Heritage Center

Anna Ranch Heritage Center is a historic cattle ranch in Waimea with buildings dating from the early 1900s. The property includes a main house, structures for processing livestock, a barn, and a garage that together show how ranch life operated across generations.

The ranch began in 1858 when a European settler married a Hawaiian woman, creating a family that managed the land across many generations. This union of European and Hawaiian roots defined the entire history of the property.

The name honors Anna Leialoha Lindsey Perry-Fiske, whose influence shaped the property for generations. Visitors can observe how Hawaiian and European practices were woven together in the daily work of ranching.

The property features several event spaces, including a hall that seats around 80 guests indoors and a front lawn for larger gatherings. Visitors should expect uneven terrain and older buildings typical of a historic ranch setting.

In the mid-1900s, a woman managed the ranch independently and built a successful life there. She later became a major supporter of a major health organization in Hawaii.
