Kaiaka Bay Beach

Kaiaka Bay Beach Park extends across 53 acres of land, featuring grassy areas, mature trees, and a mix of sandy and rocky shorelines along the coast.

The peninsula holds significance as a former worship site for Hawaiian monarchs and chiefs who conducted religious ceremonies near the water's edge.

The large stone formation called Pohaku Lanai stands as a natural monument, with local stories telling of its journey floating from the distant land of Kahiki.

The park includes seven designated camping spots requiring permits, restroom facilities, outdoor showers, and picnic tables spread throughout the grounds.

The waters of Kaiaka Bay display an unusual brown color due to the soil runoff from Paukauila and Kikii Streams mixing with the ocean waters.
