Torrena is an unfinished high-rise in Zapopan, Guadalajara, originally planned as a telecommunications and entertainment tower. The structure was designed to reach approximately 336 meters in height and would have combined multiple functions including dining, office spaces, and retail areas.
Construction began in 2005 but stopped in 2006 after initial groundwork and was cancelled definitively in 2010. The reasons for abandoning the project were never officially disclosed.
The project intended to combine commercial spaces with banks, coffee shops, and two restaurants within its structure near Plaza del Sol mall.
The site is located in Zapopan adjacent to a major shopping center, making it easy to find. The unfinished structure is visible from the street, though there is no organized access to the interior.
