Lions Lighthouse, Commemorative lighthouse in Shoreline Aquatic Park, Long Beach, US
The Lions Lighthouse is a decorative structure located at 200 Aquarium Way within the Shoreline Marina complex in Long Beach. The lighthouse stands about 65 feet tall and serves as a focal point alongside the Aquarium of the Pacific in this waterfront area.
The Downtown Long Beach Lions Club funded and opened the structure in December 2000 as a symbol of their mission to fight blindness. The non-operational building was created to represent the organization's commitment to community service and vision care.
The structure serves as a gathering spot for community events and ceremonies, linking maritime heritage with the work of a local service organization focused on vision care.
