Laugh Factory is a comedy club occupying a stone building corner in Hollywood, California. On the left face a vertical sign reads "Laugh" above a glowing orange disc with "FACTORY" in script; below it a small marquee repeats the words. The right face carries a larger version of the same stacked sign, and an arched white marquee beneath lists Kathy Griffin, Neal Brennan, Morgan Murphy, Tom Arnold and "EVERY THURS".

Jamie Masada founded the Laugh Factory and remains its chief executive; the chain is owned by Laugh Factory Inc. In November 2006, after Michael Richards shouted racial slurs on stage, the club banned the word and fined Damon Wayans $320 for using it sixteen times in a twenty-minute set, suspending him for a month. On 8 December 2010 the club set an 80-hour continuous stand-up record with over 130 comedians, a mark held until April 2015.

The club enforces a language rule introduced after Michael Richards shouted racial slurs during a set on 17 November 2006: performers who use the word are fined. Damon Wayans, the first to break the ban, used it sixteen times in a twenty-minute monologue and paid $320, with a stage ban later cut to one month.

The Hollywood club sits at the corner of a stone building, with the arched white marquee listing the coming acts and the vertical "Laugh Factory" sign above the orange disc marking the entrance. The chain also runs rooms in Long Beach, Chicago, Las Vegas, Reno, San Diego and Covina, so check which venue a booking refers to. Free meals are served at the Hollywood club on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The club tracks an endurance record for the longest single set by a comedian. It also held the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous stand-up show: 80 hours, set on 9 December 2010 with over 130 comedians, until Nashville's East Room broke it in 2015.
