Chateau Elysee, French-Normandy style building in Franklin Village, Los Angeles, US.
The seven-story Chateau Elysee spans 86,204 square feet, featuring formal gardens, a moat, tennis courts, and entertainment spaces on Franklin Avenue.
Constructed in 1927 by architect Arthur E. Harvey, the building served as a luxury apartment house for movie stars before becoming Fifield Manor in 1951.
The Renaissance Restaurant inside the building prepares organic French-Californian cuisine, maintaining connections to its original French-inspired design.
The Manor Hotel occupies several floors of the building at 5930 Franklin Avenue, while other sections house the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre.
Interior designer Marjorie Requa created sophisticated spaces inspired by Louis XIV and Piccadilly styles throughout the seven-story structure.
