Buena Park is a residential community in northern Orange County featuring sprawling suburban neighborhoods and commercial districts. The city sits at an elevation of about 23 meters and maintains a typical suburban structure.
The area was formerly home to the Tongva people with their village of Juyubit and became an agricultural settlement following completion of the transcontinental railroad in 1869. This rail connection opened the region for settlement and growth.
