Muckenthaler House

The Muckenthaler House is a Spanish Colonial Revival residence in Fullerton featuring stucco walls, red-tile roofs, and decorative wrought-iron work throughout. The property comprises 18 rooms arranged across multiple acres with landscaped gardens surrounding the main structure.

Walter and Adella Muckenthaler built this house in 1925 during a period of local economic growth. Their son Harold transferred ownership to the city of Fullerton in 1965, transforming it into a public space.

The residence now functions as a cultural center where art shows and music performances happen regularly throughout the year. Rooms are actively used for community gatherings, creating a social space that brings people together for celebration and learning.
