Knott's Soak City is a seasonal water park east of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, occupying 13 acres (5.3 ha) beside the main parking lot and the Independence Hall replica. It opened on June 17, 2000, as Soak City U.S.A., the first park in the Soak City chain, and is owned and operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
The Buena Park water park opened on June 17, 2000, as Soak City U.S.A., the first in the chain. The Knott's Soak City name had earlier been used for two other Southern California parks: one in Chula Vista, opened in 1997 as White Water Canyon and sold in 2012, and one in Palm Springs, opened in 1986 as Oasis Water Park and operated under the Knott's name from 2002 to 2013.
