Auerbacher Home

The Auerbacher Home is a modernist residence in Redlands featuring clean horizontal lines, expansive glass panels, and natural materials integrated into the California residential setting on Sierra Vista Drive. The structure demonstrates mid-century design principles through its open spatial arrangement and carefully positioned window systems.

Architect Richard Neutra designed this single-family residence in 1951 as a significant example of mid-century residential architecture in Southern California. The property received National Register of Historic Places recognition in 2012, acknowledging its historical importance to the region's architectural heritage.

The residence retains its original Neutra-designed furniture, including living room chairs and a coffee table that reflect mid-century design principles.
