The UCR Soccer Stadium consists of 878 main seats along the western sideline with additional grass seating areas on both sides of the structure.
The soccer grounds originated in the 1950s as the first home for UC Riverside Highlanders men's soccer team until the early 1980s.
The stadium strengthens community bonds through regular sporting events, including matches between University of California teams and special celebrations.
Students enter matches without charge upon presenting their UCR identification, while the facility provides transportation access and parking spaces.
The TigerTurf artificial surface installed in 2007 enables continuous use by both men's and women's teams without field deterioration.
