Belle Campground

Belle Campground is a campground with 18 sites situated among large granite boulders in Joshua Tree National Park. The spaces are scattered between the rocks and include picnic tables and fire rings for overnight stays.

The campground opened alongside Joshua Tree's designation as a National Park, preserving the natural desert environment for visitors. It became part of the protected landscape established to safeguard the region's unique geology and ecosystems.

The campground serves as a base for visitors exploring Joshua Tree National Park's geological formations, native plants, and diverse desert wildlife.

Campers must bring their own drinking water since no water supply is available at the site. Registration is required at entrance stations, and visitors should plan to be self-sufficient for all provisions.

The site provides direct access to numerous climbing routes and bouldering areas right from the campground. Visitors find an exceptional concentration of climbing opportunities suitable for various skill levels.
