Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, motorsports track
Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park is a motorsport facility in the south of Arizona, near Chandler, with multiple tracks built for different vehicle types. The site includes an oval course, a kart track, and open driving areas used for both professional races and practice sessions.
The facility opened in the 1990s as a training and competition center for motorsport in Arizona. Since then it has been expanded more than once to welcome new vehicle categories and racing formats.
Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park sits on land belonging to the Gila River Indian Community, and the name itself reflects that connection to the land and its history. On event days, the venue draws families and racing fans from across the region, giving it a communal feel that goes beyond just watching cars go fast.
The park has plenty of parking and is most easily reached by car, as it sits outside the main urban area. Before visiting, it is worth checking which events or open track sessions are scheduled, since the calendar changes throughout the year.
The track is owned and operated by the Gila River Indian Community, making it one of the few motorsport venues in the country run by a tribal nation. That ownership gives the site a different legal and economic standing compared to most racing facilities across the US.
