Santurbán-Salazar de las Palmas Regional Park

Santurbán-Salazar de las Palmas Regional Park is a protected area in the Colombian Andes featuring high mountain forests and natural lagoons across varying elevations. The landscape includes diverse ecosystems with dense vegetation and water bodies that change character as you move upward through different zones.

The area received official protection status in 2013 through regional environmental authorities as a measure to safeguard the mountain ecosystems and water sources of the region.
