A Danish merchant named Cristian Andresen Moller acquired the property in 1887 with his wife Teresa Briceño and used it as both an office and residence. The building later served educational purposes after being sold in 1914 with the requirement that it be used for that function.

The house takes its name from Teresa Briceño, wife of the original owner, whose presence in the building remains part of its identity today. The white walls and classical details reflect how wealthy families in the border city displayed their European connections.

The building is located at Avenue 4 and Street 15 in the city center, making it easy to find and access. Visitors should know that it operates as a cultural venue with rotating events and exhibitions throughout the year.

Teresa Briceño sold the property in 1914 at half its value with a specific condition that it would serve educational purposes. This generous act reflects her commitment to advancing the region's development.
