Parroquia Antigua

Parroquia Antigua is a temple in Salamanca featuring elaborately carved facades with detailed religious motifs covering the exterior. The structure displays multiple tiers of twisted columns and fine stone reliefs that define its entire appearance.

Construction of the temple began in 1603 and was completed in 1690, with the distinctive Baroque facade added in 1740. These later modifications reflected new design trends that spread across Spanish colonial Mexico.
